For those who follow my blog, I'm truly sorry it's been so long. Not that I've really been busy, I just have to say that I'm lost for inspiration while inside the hospital. Yes, I'm still here, in the same bed, staring at the same walls. Can you tell I'm feeling just a bit

sorry for myself?

Okay, I need to get over that. My only worry is those brief moments when I feel like I'm losing my mind. Sometimes I worry I'm turning into Jack Nicholson's character from "The Shining". Here I am trying to duplicate the look on his face when he goes crazy. If you haven't seen the 1980 film; he "loses it" after developing a massive case of cabin fever while serving as a caretaker in an empty, haunted hotel for the winter and tries to kill his family with an ax. I can
sympathize with his case of cabin fever--- but on a MUCH lower level. And yes, I know I don't look quite as scary as Jack--- come on, there is only ONE Jack Nicholson!
Other than that, I may actually be able to spring free from this place before my pregnancy is over. I don't want to jinx things, but they are looking good. My cervix is starting to cooperate and if I remain stable with the discontinuation of some
meds, I could be released within the next couple of days for strict
bed rest at home (initially they planned to keep me here for the duration). I just want to be home with my dogs, sleeping next to my hubby at night! None the less, the top priority is to keep these babies put for now!
Meantime, the latest baby pic. An ultrasound today shows they've done some rearranging and now have their heads all together--- maybe they're doing a "baby huddle" to try and come up with a
game plan to get us out of the hospital!

I have my fingers crossed that you'll get to come home soon.

Sorry you're feeling so crazed... It's a terrible feeling I'm sure!! I hope they can spring you out of there soon! You'll be in my thoughts!
Thanks for the support gals! I just need to remember, it's about the babies, and not my sanity, right? :) I know someday I'll be saying "I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat".
I get the Jack Nicholson thing. As for inspiration, maybe I should swamp you with blog memes.
;-)
Or ... you could work on your "100 things about me" post. Or tell us your favorite (or worst) junior-high school story. Or your wedding story.
Just don't write, "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy," over and over again ...
