Stealing the Spotlight!

NEVER in my life have I seen my husband snap so many pictures! Tommy could care less about the flashing camera and just continues to sleep, Annie will glare at you, all bleary-eyed, and Miss Olivia flinches every time the camera flashes (I don't think she wants her sleep disturbed).

We've been parents for less than 48 hours and I have a feeling the picture-taking will never end, whether our trio likes it or not. Tomorrow they'll make their television debut on News 12 Connecticut, as I got a call today from our assignment editor, Larry, who would like to send a camera crew by. These three are surely living life on the fast track! Here's a few more pics we snapped today:

"Miss Olivia"-- we had planned to call her "Livy", but according to the nurses "Olivia" suits her because she is a bit of a prima donna. That's okay. We love her no matter what!

And... here's Mr. Thomas Patrick Kane V (aka: Tommy). He just loves to sprawl out and sleep! guess he should enjoy all the space after being smooshed between his sisters for so long. We're counting on him to keep them in line!Last, but most certainly not least, our little Annie. She was born almost a pound smaller than her brother and sister, but she's the strongest. Poor thing was getting smooshed at the bottom of the pile while inside me! She's very feisty!


The babies are making great strides. All three are now feeding from bottles which is usually something they don't develop until the 34th week of gestation! I had to slow down a bit today because I've become very anemic from blood loss during the c-section (you get stretched out a lot with three babies inside of you). All in all, all five of us are great and we can't tell you how blessed we feel right now!
