I know this picture probably doesn't look quite right. Why am I in a hospital bed and smiling? Only because I just received word that I'd be discharged. Phew! To make a long story short; we've had a crazy 48 hours or so. As explained in my previous post, I was admitted to Greenwich Hospital Tuesday after throwing massive contractions. The doctors also found changes in my Cervix, which is what holds the babies in. Was I freaking out? You betcha! Tears and all.
In the midst of all of this; do I have the best husband in the world, or what? Poor, 6 foot 4 inch tall Tom insisted on spending the night in my hospital room--- not to mention in this crazy fold out bed they gave him. No room to turn and toss in this thing! He described it as, "like sleeping in a straight jacket". Fun, fun! Believe it or not, he got more sleep than I that night.

So, we're not out of the woods yet, I'll be going back to the hospital twice a week for contraction monitoring and if things don't look good, they may admit me for the long haul. That could mean months! Please continue to keep Tom and I, and the babies, in your thoughts and prayers. We don't need any more trouble at this point!

My DH was almost in the same boat. But he's only about 6'2", so it wasn't quite as traumatic!
