Anyways, I contacted Erin last week, after being released from the hospital, to let her know that we need to cancel the shower for now (whelp...) because of the little scares surrounding my pregnancy (for more, see my previous posts) . Mind you, these issues are things that most people with a multiple pregnancy usually deal with at some point. The doctor is concerned that all of the excitement of visitors could cause me to go back into preterm labor. Yes, it's frustrating to have a pregnancy without a baby shower, but I need to keep these little ones baking as long as I can!
So, this is just a little note to all you girls out there who were planning to attend my News 12 Shower: I thank each and every one of you--- and I SOOOOOOO wanted to see you! Let's plan on doing it once the babies are born? How 'bout a "rain check" on the shower--- he he. Until then, I miss you all and I appreciate you thinking of me! Pray for many, many, more weeks with no further complications and for me to keep my sanity while on bed rest!

Oh my goodness!! You shouldn't have to cancel your shower! Could your hosts by chance help you work your bedrest into the shower festivities? We recently had a shower for a twin Mom and we had her husband bring her wonderful recliner from home to the shower location! We decorated it appropriately and it worked out wonderfully! :) I loved all of my baby showers and it's so much fun! I hope that you'll be able to do 'some' celebrating before your trio arrives!!
good luck!
