Somebody Stop the Violence!

Apparently things are getting pretty wild among our three munchkins. Today I had another visit with our Perinatologist (specialist dealing with high risk pregnancies) and we had a two hour long 3-D ultrasound. So, while I was hoping for some good pictures of the babies to share with everyone, all we got was a bunch of arms and legs. Why? Babies "A", "B", and "C" wouldn't stop kicking and punching one another. Basically, it just looked like a bunch of limbs flying everywhere!

To start, here's Baby "B" showing his/her aggressive side; putting up his dukes, ready to defend himself.

And here's Baby "C" throwing a punch (I hear "C" has a good right hook) at "A". If you look closely, you can see a foot coming up from below to kick this baby.

This last picture is a little hard to decipher, but basically, it's "B" getting hit by the other two from all directions! Ouch!

The good news is the babies are protected by their amniotic fluid so all of the punches and jabs really don't hurt them. The doctor says they're really just starting to run out of space. Poor babies!

And more good news in babyland; the doctor called them all a bunch of chunkers. Each came in at a whopping 1 lb 11 oz which is above average for their age! The doc says to me, "what have you been eating?". It's also a good sign that they are currently all the same size and all sharing the nutrients equally. Yea babies!
