Quite a title, huh? Ya, I guess that describes me best, he he.... As you can see, I'm trying to keep a sense of humor and a smile on my face. Or, as the British would say "a steef uppah leap" (stiff upper lip). Yep, I figure since I'm part English I can do that! Sorry folks, I haven't been allowed to wash my hair (or shower) for a couple of days and have a major case of
bedhead, go figure!

Many of you many have heard; as of Monday I was checked into the hospital for the remainder of the pregnancy. That could be weeks or months. Much to the despair of my mental state, longer would actually be better so that we can keep these babies
bakin'.
I had gone in for my scheduled
Perinatologist appointment and well, my cervix just isn't holding

strong. Baby A wants out! His/her head is pushing down hard so I've got to stay horizontal and be monitored 'round the clock. But how fun is this; I get my own bedside commode. Nope, they don't even want me walking that few extra feet to the bathroom. Hope I haven't offended any of you with my frankness.
None the less, I've had some excitement here in my hospital room. My friend Debra stopped by last night after finishing a live shot here in Greenwich (she, too, is a reporter for News 12). As you can see, Debra brought a beaming smile, a gift (which, by the way, it not necessary visitors!), and some great converstation to make time fly. Deb is so sweet!

Then, here's my crazy hubby, who jumped (or should I say "dropped") to the rescue when my ever

precious lip balm fell under the bed. All you can see are his long, long legs as he maneuvered under the bed. Okay, how much does this look like the Wicked Witch from the Wizard of Oz when she got
smooshed by the house? Just kidding Tom!

Too funny. After a few chosen words, he got the lip balm. Yea Tom!

Anyhow, as always, I'm asking for your prayers to keep me pregnant with the babies for weeks and weeks to come. I love phone calls, e-mails, and visits but I don't want anyone to feel obligated! Your kind thoughts alone mean a lot!

I'll definitely keep you and your three little ones in my thoughts & prayers. Keep up the good work and ENJOY the rest, while you can get it. Although it may not seem like "easy" work remaining horizontal >> trust me ... it is!!
Ah, but I look back on the days of bed rest sometimes with pure longing. If only I could grab a nap!! :)
You are in for a wonderful ride!!
I was in and out of the hospital several times before my twin daughters were born. Not fun but necessary. Hang in there and keep those babies cookin'! By the way, I added you to our "bump watch." Hope that's OK.
Thanks so much Jen and Becky for your support! I can't tell you how much it means. Also, thanks for adding me to "Bump Watch". I wasn't even aware of it--- now it gives me somewhere else to burn some time. Thanks much! ;)
