So, before I fall into a deep sleep I figured I owed my loyal blog readers an update of sorts....

And what's a trip to the doctor without a little humor? I gave Tom a "makeshift beard" with the ultrasound jelly they spread on my belly. He wasn't too keen on the idea, but I talked him into it in all my silliness. Perhaps bed rest is driving me a bit mad, as well...So, now I'll get serious. Not too much to report on the baby front. They still look picture perfect, are practicing their breathing, heart rates are accelerating properly, etc, etc... I am (sadly) a centimeter dilated and baby A is trying to escape, so who knows when these three will make their debut. Doctor says she wouldn't expect anything otherwise at this point, especially in a triplet pregnancy. By the way, since I've made it to 33 weeks I've passed the duration of an "average" triplet pregnancy, so at least I'm in a good place. However, I'm hoping to squeeze in at least one more week, that way the babies wouldn't spend quite so much time in the hospital following the birth. So, on this lucky day of threes say three prayers for my little ones--- we'll all be meeting them before we know it!

Just think, you'll be one of the only ladies getting a C-section who will actually feel better after the section than before. (You'll be able to breath, walk around without getting winded, sit comfortably...and so on!)
You and your little ones are always on my mind. Keep it up!
Mel
Just like meluch+3, you are always on my mind.
Your spirit is so inspiring. Your posts are so fun.
Your babies are so fortunate to have such a Mom & Dad waiting for them with such love and patience and kindness and humor... your babies will see so such happiness in their lives!
The warm sun must be bringing out all the love stories... your prior post was so much fun to read. Love it! If you have a second I'd love you to post it on our Mr. Linky today!!
And maybe you've discovered some new kinda costume/Halloween use for the ultrasound jelly... don't let anyone steal your idea!
I will be checking in a couple of times a day now! And my guess is 2girls and one boy...

Mel and Sharon--- so good to hear from you both! I need as much girl power behind me as possible to keep on keepin' on!
Sharon, I'd love to post to Mr. Linkey. I'll do so today!
Thanks to both of you for the words of inspiration--- and Miss Mel, you've set the bar so high. I'll hang upside down if I have to in order to hold these babies in!
Congratulations. I'll say a little prayer or 3 that you last at least another week before they make their grand entrance.
I stopped by via Pinks & Blues Girls. I'm married to a Tom also and enjoyed reading about the two of you.
I'm going to have to come back and check on you and the triplets.
